Why we exist.
We started North Consulting after watching local businesses get burned by generalist agencies — paying thousands a month for "SEO" that never touched their Maps ranking, which is where 80% of local leads actually come from.
So we built a focused practice around exactly that: getting local businesses into the Google Maps 3-Pack and keeping them there with transparent, no-BS reporting.

North Consulting was founded in 2025 by a University of Iowa student with a simple belief: local businesses deserve the same quality of digital presence as national brands — without the agency markup.
What started as a focused experiment in Google Maps optimization has grown into real, hands-on work now spanning 3 cities: Atlanta GA, Samburg TN, and Plymouth MN.
We're not a large agency. We're a specialist operation — obsessed with one thing, and very good at it.
